What makes a blog fan worthy is honesty, the more bungled and wacky the honesty the more readable the blog. Candor comes easy to me, almost to a fault. As a teen when my friends jumped onto the sullen, tight-lipped bandwagon, I was an open book and shared too many details turning more then a few of my mother’s auburn locks grey.
With the blessing of a truthful tongue it would be easily assumed that the makings of a noteworthy blog would be abundant. I am left to ponder that perhaps then my roadblock will lie with a lack of mishaps and wacky tales?
Handsome hubby) and noble brother-in-law coached Littlesis's (youngest step- daughter) soccer team. Yesterday evening the rain stayed away and with 60 people (70% under the age of 8) gathered for a soccer windup, the stage was set for a fantastically, witty filled blog!
Unfortunately it all went smoothly. A magical evening unfolded, everything came with ease, plenty of food, no major injuries or arguments, flowing social banter, topped off with handshakes and praise by everyone.
Now I am left wondering will I ever have what it takes to have a readable blog??? Or am I doomed to a life of roses and perfect evenings???

Hi!
Found you through Mom Bloggers Club.
I have to say, this post made me laugh.
Really well written!
After a failed attempt at flying back to Colorado, this is not what I needed to read while I'm stuck in Calgary. A life of roses and perfection? How would that be?!
:-)
Thanks for delurking! I'm not sure what advice I would give about building a cohesive community. Colorado didn't really have one so I went through the local newspaper to do it. But you could always just start your own by banding other bloggers from Alberta together!
